PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Cocopeat or coconut coir dust has excellent water holding capacity and used as organic growing medium and to recondition soil. It is sieved in 5mm mesh then sundried and sterilized at 120 – 200 degrees centigrade. It is the compressed and packed. It is suitable for garden application, nurseries and commercial use to improve soil conditions.
Cocopeat, with water added, expands three times of its volume of planting medium and potting mix. It retains water well, allows good aeration and irrigation efficiency which, in turn, lead to faster germination and quicker seedling rotations.
Cocopeat can be used for hydroponics, golf courses, vermicast bedding, mushroom farming and other gardening applications.
